Anna Maria is a musical theatre performer based in DC. She grew up in a military family, spending most of her childhood in Okinawa, Japan. Raised among many cultures, from life overseas to her Puerto Rican family, Anna Maria fell in love with all the ways stories can be told.

For two years, she trained at Boston Conservatory in Musical Theatre before transferring to NYU Tisch. She graduated with a BFA in Drama from the Playwrights Horizons Studio. Her studies in musical theatre, playwrighting, directing, ethics, and philosophy gave her the basis for art making: community building through storytelling.

When Anna Maria isn't performing, she likes to read, bullet journal, and complete life side quests! Recent excursions include skiing and embroidery.
